Better days ahead!

Hi there!

I have a card to show for a few challenges!

The card concept ~ use an umbrella on your card.
Crafters cafe  ~ CAS
Incy wincy designs  ~ CAS
Lexis creations  ~ Focus on the sentiment
Word art Wednesday  ~ Anything goes
Southern girls challenge ~ Earn your stripes

I created my card in the clean and graphic style

I used inlaid letters cut with my Silhouette for the 'smile' , and the 'better days ahead' part was printed , and cut with my Silhouette, then popped up.

I printed the pinstripes, again from Mel, and colored between the black lines with my promarkers.

My card is based on the sentiment below, which I created, and you are welcome to use!

I would love to see your project using it!

Thanks for visiting me today!

Deze kaart springt echt van het scherm! Heel mooi gedaan die felle kleuren bij het zwart en erg leuk bedacht die paraplu op de plek van de M.

This is such a clever design, using the umbrella as part of the word. And the bold colors really make it fun.

this card is fabulous in so many ways. The use of the graphic umbrella with the sentiment is just great. I am going to use it in my Silhouette just as you have set it up. The stripes make it so dynamic!

Joe, perfek met die wit so op die swart en die helder strepe teen die kant, vrou!! Mal oor die oorspronklike idee om die sambreeltjie so te gebruik!! Eenvoudig ongelooflik!!

What a wonderful card AND sentiment design! Timing for your kind offer and inspiration is perfect - my son goes in for surgery at the end of the month (April 2015) and will have 6 weeks of recuperation. Perhaps I'll try reversing the color on my printer- I know there's that capability, I've just never tried it before. If not, I'll go with something other than a black bacground.
