Two hearts become one

Hi there!

One of my nieces asked me to make her a wedding card for a friend that's getting married...

With the invitation available, I find it so much easier to know what the couple will love.

Elements on the invitation included kraft , cream and lace. I replaced the lace with a piece of satin ribbon, just because the lace and the dotted hearts didn't want to 'blend'  ;)

I created the hearts in my Silhouette programme. I used the rhinestone function for the dots.

The same heart was cut 3 times. For my first heart I removed the dots. For the second heart I used only the dots. (I used the heart to position the dots, and removed it once I finished the placement). For the last heart I used both the dotted heart and the heart shape without dots.

I had to put on my thinking cap for this one because I wanted to capture the sentiment in picture, which says:   "Two hearts become one"

Oh this is just gorgeous. A simple yet elegant design (though I bet very fiddly to do!), and I adore the neutral colours! Just gorgeous! x

Groete

Another brilliant creation dear friend! The satin ribbon (which I thought was vellum) is gorgeous! How did you manage to get the sentiment stamped on the ribbon?

Clever as ever x 2 is to use the rhinestone feature for the dots! Never in a million years would I have thought to do this!!!

Nice touch rounding the corners of the design panel!

Absolutely beautiful card, Hannelie! The color palette is gorgeous, and I love how you made each heart a little different! Love that you chose vellum for your sentiment, too! I'm sure the newly married couple will love it!
