Keep calm...

Hi there!

When I saw the POLKA DOT challenge at Cas-ual fridays this week, I thought... ahh, nice easy one!

Until I sat down to start... too many ideas, none of them paid off. And then... PING!

This is what happened in the craft room:

I just stayed calm and...

LOVE polka dots!

I was curious of how this whole "keep calm" thing started, and if you are wondering where it all started... you can read about it HERE!

I made my own poster, but there are many online generators where you can make your own poster!

I just added a strip of polka dot paper and a bit of bling to the crown.

Thanks for looking!

This is soooo cool! Funny thing is that this was my daughter's suggestion for a card for Round Two of gallery idol! Up until she mentioned it, I had never heard of the Keep Calm movement! Must have been living under a rock...again!

Love your version - seriously, there is something so comforting about polka dots!

Your card is fabulous! And thanks for the history of the Keep Calm movement - I must admit I was curious about it myself.

I enjoy your cards and your blog very much!

Super-clever take on the challenge, Hannelie! You even got the word "polka dot" in there! Love how you kept it b&w. So glad you joined the CAS-ual Fridays Challenge!
