Kites rise highest...

Hi there!

I believe it was Winston Churchill who said : Kites rise highest against the wind... not with it.
How true is that in life! No personal growth is possible without some trials and tribulations!

Not always easy to understand, but all fits in... in the bigger plan!

I took some time to make Silhouette cutting files for my clear/rubber stamps. I am a hopeless case when it comes to fussy cutting... so I started thinking!

I stamped all the stamps of a set on one A4 page... scanned the images... and opened the png image in the Silhouette software programme.

I used the traced function to trace the images... then used the offset function to give that little white edge around the image... and cut! So easy!

I thought I was the first one to be so clever, but after a quick visit to you tube... I saw someone else was clever long before me... and even made a video to demonstrate that!

HERE is the link!!!

Here is my sentiment:

beautiful card - love the colours and the sentiment. We want so much for life to be 'easy' and free from trial (especially for our kids), but it's true that our struggles help us grow in character.

A wonderful card and a truly inspiring sentiment, Hannelie ... and it's so true, if life was easy all the time, we wouldn't have anything to overcome! Churchill's a great source of amazing quotes! Anita :)
