Knot around a knot!

Hi there!

I hope you are enjoying a peaceful Sunday morning!

This week's challenge at cas-ualfridays is to use a knot or knots on a project.

I have used this knot on a few cards before...I found the instructions on page 74 of the Papercraft essentials magazine issue 59, but I am pretty sure Google will help out too ;-)

It is called a Awaji-Musubi knot and originated in China. I used ordinary twine . I know there is a special twine available... but I thought the twine looks great!

The loose ends were also tied up with a ribbon and an ordinary knot.

This is how it looks!

Thanks for visiting today... and thanks so much to everyone who took the time to congratulate me on the win last week!
I appreciate it so much!

Jy het omtrent die knoop deur gehaak op hierdie een Hannelie! Pragtig, met net die regte hoeveelheid versierings vir 'n elegante kaartjie.
Groete,
Amelia

Hmm that is interesting. I thought that was called a Swedish love not. At least it was when the bridesmaids carried them in my daughter's wedding.
