Sending you sunshine

Hi there!

After I typed the header of this post, I thought... this is quite appropriate... for sunshine is something we have in abundance her in the desert!

My card for the  less is more color challenge this week. The color of course : YELLOW

I wanted to use only the frame of the die cut flower... but then it didn't cut through the first time. I started to struggle to get the petals out, and decided there and then to keep it that way, I only lifted the ends of the petals for a dimensional effect. And of course, keeping the petals gave more color and that is what the challenge is about!

The sentiment is my own, computerised, and I thought I'd share my sunshine today!
You are welcome to use it...

Thanks for the sunny rays Hannelie, I feel as though I could do with them as the moment as our weather has been dreary recently!
This is lovely and what a good idea to leave the petals in the flower!
It's good of you to share your sentiment too!
Super card yet again.
Thanks so much
Chrissie

Thanks for sharing your sunshine day with us Hannelie. This card is stunning. Love the way you've created the dimension with the petals. Strange how things always turn out OK in the end. A winner here. Have a super day further, hugs Sharon x

Love your flower, the way that it is sitting looks fantastic - worth the machine not cutting the paper through! Thanks for taking part in the Joanna Sheen Challenge this fortnight...

Lovely sunny yellow. We could do with some sun here in the UK.
