A perfect match

Hi there!

Almost midway through our long weekend here in the UAE... and enjoying the relaxed atmosphere in the house !

When I saw the sketch at just us girls yesterday , I couldn't help but to think... cas-ualfridays... over the edge, with some of the design elements that goes over the edge of the front panel.

See what I mean?  Perfect match!

The inside...

At first I didn't want to do the obvious Christmas tree, but then I remembered THIS FOLD from teabag folding I did a long time ago.

The idea is to make a few medallions like this,  and combine it as shown in the illustration, but I made only one and used it as a Christmas tree.
I first used my biggest circle die cut, but that was a little too small, so I used a small plate to draw a circle to get a big enough card. It's also better to use light weight card stock or paper, because there is quite a lot of folding to do, and heavy weight card stock doesn't give a neat finish.
I printed on both sides of the paper from sprouting seeds studio (polka dot freebie)
