A Christmas star

Hi there!

The less is more challenge this week is to feature a star on your card.

I don't have any star stamps, so  I had to improvise! I used the stamp shown on the photo beneath, applied ink to only about 5cm, and stamped 2 triangles. One upright, and one upside down to form a star!

I made the black and white one, and then I thought , while I'm busy, it is such a quick and easy way to make a Christmas card, that I went ahead and made 2 others. One green and black, and one gold and black... and now I can't choose which one I like most!

Black and white:

 Green and black:

Gold and black:

The stamp:

The sentiment reads " Merry Christmas" in Afrikaans.

Also entering :
bows n berries ~ CAS
make it monday ~ Anything goes
OSAAT ~ Christmas

Thanks for visiting my blog!

I just love it when crafters show such ingenuity in the use of their stamps. These cards are all stunning.
As I mentioned in the Showcase post last week, there's often a way round coming up with an idea for any particular challenge... even if you don't have an immediately appropriate resources!
You certainly thought outside the box.
Superb cards!
Thanks so much
Chrissie

That is very clever. It takes some thought and a steady hand to get those triangles just right. It is so stylish. I think I prefer the black and white one, but they are all great. I saw you on MIM. Kate x
